is david haye mad? why would vitali give him a shot when

I thought Vitali had said quite a while ago, that if Haye get´s ranked at number 1 contender he would fight him ?

 

That would be Haye's problem though, not Vitali's. Why should the Champ put his belt on the line with no opportunity to win it back in the unlikely event that Haye wins by some fluke.

Also, as I said earlier, Haye probably thinks it'll be another 50/50 split & that's ridiculous when he has no belt of his own & he's coming off a loss.

 

If Haye fought another top ranked contender to earn the mandatory position he'd have a much better case for a bigger slice of the pie. He still wouldn't get 50/50 but he'd probably get 35-40% rather than the 25% he'd get right now since he's coming off a near shutout loss & he has no belt. Right now the demand to see Haye fight anybody isn't what it once was because his showing against Wlad was lame.
