I was thinking about this before, its very hard to say really. He is right up there. I think harder p4p than Pavlik tbh, Pavlik is somewhat an accumulation puncher rather than the 1 punch ko artist he is made out to be. His ko of Taylor is overrated in its 'spectacularness'. Whereas Haye's KO of Mormeck was frightening. We may be forgetting Wlad here...

it's a tricky one, obviously he's bigger puncher than smaller fighters, but you also need a bigger punch to knock out big guys. this is harder than making a p4p list. but he takes peoples heads off when he does connect. maybe

no way. make no mistake about it, he is a good puncher but he has to prove it against better and more competition. mormeck is good victory but he is far from iron-chinned who clearly has stamina issues

imo Pavlik, pacman, and wlad are top shelf. pacman has great natural power combined with great speed. Pavlik has natural power along with tremendous technique and wlad has it all: natural power, speed, and technique. i mean did u see the way he flattened the steel-chinned ray austin with 3 left hooks :yep

I dont think anyone is comparing his power to ATG`s like that but he is a massive puncher and certainly the hardest banger at 200lbs. Haye needs a style that caters to his power.Problem is his chin cant play catch up.As for the biggest puncher P4P the answer is no.Iv seen Haye with some good knock outs but not the boneshattering KO`s you would expect of a powerful puncher.Even Cintrons KO have more butter on them P4P.

Lets everyone hop on the Haye bandwagon:-( Sure Haye has power but so do Pavlik, Miranda, Dawson, Diaconu(most underated fighter in boxing), Klitchko, Cintron, Cotto..It would be just as easy to pick any of these fighters over Haye. Cheers mates:good

Let's remember that Wlad is 240+ pounds though so POUND FOR POUND does he hit harder than Haye at 215 - 220? Impossible to say. We need to hook them up to a punch machine which measures punch poundage. Then:

    Vitali: The results are clear
Max Kellerman: What results are those?
    Vitali: Whatever Wladimir hits..............he destroys!
    Lennox Lewis: Definitely
PBF: I'd stand toe to toe with that bum and knock him out
Joe Calzaghe: I reckon he slaps a bit

Oh, I forgot; Ricky Hatton broke the machine so that plan goes out the window :-(

I dont believe for a minute a "chin" gets ruined. You can either take a shot or you cant.Guys like Ali Tyson Mcall Tua Toney all have had great chins going into the later stages of there careers. But ANY man hit on the button by a plus 200lb will go down. The laws of physics simply dont allow for any other outcome. Peter was hit on the button and went down. Vlad didnt ruin anything. All he did was destroy the already bloated myth about Sam Peters legitimacy as the future of the heavyweight division.

No it wouldn't. You are such a bullshitter, you claim to be British and yet every post of yours I have read is some attack or dismissal of a British fighter.

How the **** would it be easy to put Dawson or Cotto ahead of Haye in terms of punch power? How?
Haye has won all but one of his victories with a stoppage and Dawson has 17 stoppages from 25 wins, Cotto has 25 from 31 but more importantly most of those are after prolonged beatings. He wears people down with sustained punishment.

Dawson has failed to stop his opponent on 8 occasions and three of the most recent are all when he has stepped up in class.

Haye has 20 wins with 19 stoppages. He has only gone past the 5th round on 4 occasions and has KO'd the top level guys who he has fought.

I voted no for Haye because at Heavyweight where he is stepping up to, Wlad hits harder and there are guys like Citron who you could say P4P are even more fiercesome hitters.

    But Dawson...please.
