Mormeck is not Juan Carlos Gomez, James Toney, or Vassily Jirov! Mormeck is huffing and puffing after 6 rounds ready to have a heart attack, when he is scheduled to fight 12 rounds.

So tired of guys not giving Wlad credit for Thompson, actually blaming Wlad for fighting him.
Wlad had NO CHOICE but to fight Thompson or lose the belt.
You think Thompson is a joke? Blame the WBO not Wlad

no, ONE right hand from haye wouldn't knock wlad out cold. he might get floored but he would get up again. one of wlad's right hands à la brock and haye would be out!

yeah. i hate haye, though he is a decent fighter. but he makes himself out to be slick when mormeck, mr. average, knocked him down, and hit him pleanty.

There is no doubt Haye has impved as a fighter over the years. I feel people will forever question his chin, but I do think he'll be more durable at HW. I don;t care what anyone says, Haye dehydrated to make 200lbs, no question about it. I believe that had an effect on his punch resistance.

I'm all for Haye. If he becomes HW champ, there will be a character at the top of boxing once again. HW division is so dull at the moment its unreal.

People are saying Haye will get demiolished by Wladamir. Well let me tell you if Haye takes it too Klitzcho from the off, Wladamir won't know what the fcuk is happening. He's way too apprehensive.

Haye has the talents & skills to become HW champion.

Yeah but he has an egg chin at HW. He'll have to box, otherwise he will get KTFO if he opens up against Wlad (for example).

You can't say what his chin will be like at Heavyweight for sure, so don't bother!

Like someone said as long as he knocks people out and keeps them edgy with his stalking and putting his chin on show, he should get through most Heavies out there at the moment. Whatever Wlad says about Haye being not ready, you know in a match up between those Wlad would be cacking himself. Not saying he would definitely lose, but Wlad is incredibly cautious and with Haye he'll have not only massive media attention, but an incredibly fast and heavy hitting puncher to contend with. My thoughts: Haye KO2, or Wlad KO6.

Like Wlad, for example? The best HW in the world with the more than questionable chin?

Whens the last time he was down though ?,not for a long time now,not saying haye will not be able to KO him,but some seem to go on as if he has been down every ****ing fight.Peters put him down(even if some of the punches were well dodgy behind the neck),and he still was ok and nearly KOed maybe the biggest puncher out there in the HWs in the last round

My point is that chin isn't everything, boxing ability and other attributes can make up for it, hence the undoubted best HW in the world having a weak chin, but he still mops the floor with the current HW division.

And no fighter's chin has ever improved when they were drained at a lower weight and moved up in weight? And is his chin really that much worse than Wlad's? I suspect he would have been floored by the same punch.
