Is David Haye the only fighter to courageously get up from a Klitschko knockdown

The thing is most people on this forum agree that a fully fit Haye would have beat Wlad. Haye didnt even consider waiting for the broken foot to be healed and delaying the fight. Thats how much he loves his fans. Now Wlad wont give him a rematch and Quitali is ducking him by not giving him a fair contract.

It wasnt really a good knockdown

I mean would Haye of gotten up and made the final bell if he got the knockdown that Brock or Austin or Chambers or Peter got in the second fight

probably not, in the 12th Wlad after getting caught and responded by hitting Haye with several right hands

if the whole fight was like the 12th round it would have been good and Wlad would of got the stoppage

I kind of blame both for being boring

Haye did not engage and Wlad would not counter punch when Haye missed, this is something Vitali will do if the fight happens and thats why i think Vitali stops him

Shaun, in a wheelchair fight, who ya got, Haye or Wlad?

Also, I'd quite like to see a wheelchair race between these two athletes, a bit like in Days of Thunder.

Does anyone else think Wlad would fight someone 50lb heavier than himself whilst carrying a broken bone ?

    NO WAY!

Not only that but he refused to fight with any conviction against a guy with one leg and weighing almost 5 stone less than himself! ...... what a *****!

Thankfully his older brother will come to fight so we can expect a 100% Haye to score the knockout in that one!

To be honest, and I don't mean to bash the guy here, I don't think Wlad even makes a wheelchair fight with Haye. He'd price himself out by asking for the majority of UK PPV money, along with making another load of ridiculous contract demands.

Haye will get into the HOF on that alone. Of course the Klitschkos won't, because they only dominated a weak era.

    The 1st bit

How is it that wlad lands a couple of straight rights that seem to have little effect and Haye lands a big shot and has Wlad holding on for survival and yet you think if there was more of the same it would be Haye getting ko'd.

The 2nd bit I agree with whenever Haye attacked he left himself open with big swings and 'Hayemakers' if Wlad was a good counter puncher he could have caused Haye some serious problems.
