Is David Price vs Alexander Povetkin really going to happen?

You have to give Price credit for taking the fight, he has some bottle, also he knows one more defeat and it really is game over.

I don't give Price much of a chance, he has an outside punchers chance as best so I give Price respect for taking such a dangerous fight and hope he don't embarrass himself and gets the respect he will deserve for taking the fight.

 

This one is dangerous, never really thought Price lost the armature status , and now he is up against a really hard and good professional.

This will not end well , just hope he gets a decent pay.

 

He also has a tiny head which is a bit harder to hit.

 

Hearn is being reckless again (GGG v Brook was stupidly dangerous). This is another dangerous fight. Hope Price pulls a ktfo out of nowhere but I fear he'll be on the receiving end of a nasty beating

 

I was shocked this fight was made but it will be sure to be a laugh fest. I cannot wait. Anytime Price fights it's the best thing for the comedy in the sport. The sheer fact David "Tiny Head" Price took this fight is hilarious. He will be so scared by the end of round 1 if he's not already sparked out. Povetkin can smell fear and he will find it, and it won't be pretty folks.

 

The only chance I give him is he goes out hard and tries to catch Povetkin cold.

 

Povetkin is being set up here. He will get tested big time and Price will not and if Povetkin still wins then UKAD will fake a + sample and get him banned again to protect Joshua.

 

I can definitely see this happening.

 

Hard to see anything but a horror ending for Price.

 

I hope behind closed doors that Ingle tried to steer him away from GGG. Moving up in weight against a fighter that you obviously wont be able to do anything with once the fight settles down, was very stupid. Hearn's is business first and foremost, where as his team should be looking after him and keeping him from career ending decisions. They grabbed the money and didn't think of what a beating he could take in exchange for the pay day. This like you say, is a career ending fight imo. I could see Price out cold before he hits the canvas

 

It is a fork in the road fight for Price alright and one of the forks - perhaps the only realistic one - heads straight off a cliff.

 

The confidence Price puts in to his punches these days most at the top level would eat them. Great example of how the fight game is majority mental. He's getting beat and knocked out by fighters that if he had confidence he would imo blow away. I cant see any way where Price wins this

 

That's true. In contrast Headvetkin has a massive head. Can't really see Price losing this anymore.
