That would be sick if that is the best we have to keep in the p4p.

Stop the madness, Dawson WAS A TOP P4P FIGHTER. He was personally ranked in my top 10. I think he should have perform better, but the fight was even steven and Dawson did had Pascal the number #2 LHW out on his feet a few times. He still borderline top 10.

Wow, what a load of BS, Adamak was older and had more pro fights than today's Chad Dawson, he lost because Dawson was better that night.

Funny. Age is not always the same for fighters. If I were thinking as you I would have to say that Hopkins who lost to Jones (Hop age 28) was far better than Hopkins who beat Tito (Hop age 36,5). But of course I would have been dumb if I had said that. Some fighters peak very soon (Tyson, Bowe) and some do it late. Adamek hasnt peaked yet. Whats more when he was fighting at LHW, he fought 25 lbs below his natural weight (200 pounds).

I dont want to argue, but I have far better knowledge about Adamek and his weight issue.

When he fought Dawson, Adamek's natural weight was definitely NOT 200lbs. However, he WAS weight-drained; it's not just a convenient excuse.

Thats true. His natural weighed wasnt 200lbs at that moment, beacuse he had to have diet between fights. In example he wasnt allowed to drink as much water as he wanted to, because than he would gain too much mass. Did you know that? And imagine what happens when you dont drink as much water as you want for few years...

Nah... Adamek hasn't just had a few good meals and a few good drinks in the meantime. He's worked hard to put on muscle in the gym. A lot of muscle. If he stopped his weighttraining regime now and kept the fat low, he would lose weight because he would lose muscle.

Not having a few good meals and a few good drinks cost you a lot, when you train as hard as boxers do. So you cannot be 100% healthy, because you dont provide proper amount energy to your organism to rebuild the muscles after hard training.

I know that Adamek weighing 220 right now isnt in his natural weight. As most people say his natural weight was at CW, where he was able to cut easily to 200 pounds in the weigh-in to weigh 205-210 pounds in the day of the fight.

Yeah, sure, but I don't believe Adamek's best fighting weight without muscle gain is more than around 185-190 lbs.

I'm sorry, why are people calling this a controversial loss? Everything happened by the rules... fight stopped in 11th due to an accidental headbutt, we go to the cards, Pascal is ahead on all 3 therefore wins the fight. Yeah lets discount the previous 10 rounds and speculate on what would of happened if they rest of the 12 had been completed? No the fight stopped and Pascal was ahead. No controversy. There's a rematch clause so Chad has a new fight to win and can forget about this one, the loss will stand on his record forever, no point in harping on. Congrats Jean Pascal.

185-190 lbs could have been his weight, when he fought at LHW. Look, that 4 months after the Dawson fight, he weighed close to 200 lbs. I think that he just regenerated for these 4 months. He was still training hard, but he was able to regenareate with proper amount of food and water.

Yes, he would still be in the lower reaches of my top 10.
