    Amateur achievements shouldn't factor in.

Bottom part of top 50, because of the amount of titles in different weight classes he won. I personally don't consider any part of his boxing game to be great at all.

De La Hoya didn't have a great jab or left hook? Interesting.

Hmm, I wouldn't call them great, I would call the way whitaker made his left hooks and jabs hit air for most of the fight great, or the way Mayweather got hit by 4 left hooks the entire fight to be great, or the fact Pacquiao didn't get a scratch on him for 8 rounds to be great. I mean sure his left hook and jab is great vs a guy like vargas but against the best it was non existent.

That's fair. There was nothing wrong with him in the Pac fight and if you're great, you should be able to beat the **** out of two of the best defensive fighters of all time throughout a fight. Otherwise, there's nothing remarkable about your offense.

    Oscar De La Hoya

Has won more titles against more champions and former champions than anyone in the last 20 years.
He has had more than 20 title fights won
    Won titles in multiple divisions
Beat better opposition than anyone else in the last 15 years.

Oscar De La Hoya could box, bang, brawl. He had one of the best lefthooks ever, arguably the best lefthook of the last 15 years...one of the best jabs.

His accomplishments are greater than Shane Mosley, Tito Trinidad, Manny Pacquiao, James Toney, Lennox Lewis, Vernon Forrest, and many many other fighters who are deemed from very good to great.

Anyone who doesn't consider Oscar an ATG is basically an idiot.

Yes an ATG but not with the elite (Leonard, Duran etc) & never was the best of his era (Jones & Mayweather were unfortunately) but at least the man fought everyone who was anyone & deserves respect for that.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!! ATG's fight all comers not pick & choose. Oscar was on his way to the HOF but lost his way at the end of his career. He went out like a ***** not a champion

Oscar has fought more champions than any current fighter.
Oscar has won more title fights than any current fighters.
Oscar moved up to fight the champion 4 times.
Oscar fought everyone he needed to fight and could have fought.

Oscar only truly lost once in his prime a close SD loss to Mosley, and the rest at the end of his career...How much do you take away from Sugar Ray Leonard for losing to Camacho???? Dummy. ;)

Also beat the #1 P4P in Pernell Whitaker in 1997. ;)

DLH's achievements top both Jones and Mayweather's.

Yes DLH had more losses. Reason for that, he has one of the toughest resumes in all of boxing.
