Although I believe there was nothing Oscar could have done to beat Manny, The Trinidad fight I thought Oscar was given Tito a boxing lesson till around the 10th when DLH just started skating and running....What happened?

The Pea of the Chavez fight versus the Oscar of the Manny fight would be more embarrassingly one sided than the second Ramirez fight.

Einstein, when you start your career at 133lbs,anmd end up fighting at middleweight, I`d say thats significant. Especially when I think Oscar`s best weight was 147...

But Oscar was never a true middle... To say he was anywhere near opitimum weight or timewise in his career is very innaccurate...

Agreed, prime Whitaker is tough in ANY superfight... Oscar/PBF, always a close one even at respective primes. Although I think a prime Oscar would get after PBF a lot more than he did when they fought ...

Slow down. I was replying to your post where you said Mosley was 'a lightweight moving up' as if Oscar loses more kudos for being the guy already at welterweight when he lost.

I was pointing out that Mosley and De La Hoya were well-matched for size and Mosley was hardly the smaller man jumping up two divisions.

Where did Oscar going up to middleweight come into it you berk?

im not saying he was anywhere close to being a natural MW, and I agree his true legacy lies at 147 which was his bread and butter,..he didnt jump from LW to MW were talkin 147 to 154 to 160, there its just water weight probably. How much weight do you think Oscar was walkin around with when he fought Hopkins? And no he had no business fighting Hopkins he proved that

Never a true middle, but all greats that come out of the WW division end up fighting heavier before there career comes to an end, DLH got to big for his britches.
