If Ike is just of good as WW than any..Did why did DLH put him on his ass?..Quartey was good, but not that good.
So some people have mentions rematches, here are some rematches that would have been nice to see and have no cue why these fights never took place. Oscar vs Tito Oscar vs Quartey Oscar vs Mayweather..( Floyd would have beaten him again anyway ) Oscar vs Vargas Oscar vs Mosley...( they should have fought one more time..why not?
Why don't you just make 1 stupid post, instead of spamming us with 10 responses to yourself...You have been here long enough to act like a semi-intelligent human being! I am so sick and tired of you answering yourself and having a conversation with yourself..... atsch :fire
Im quoting on everyone elses responses, I didnt know it looks like im talkin to myself cause usually when you quote someone both post come up..I only made one real post on my own..so what am i doin wrong Philly..I see you do it all the time if your just quoting a comment so i gotta be doin something wrong my man...Sorry Dude
I do it by hand. And not that way either. My old copy of the boxing register lists whether or not you were top 10 or a champion when you fought them. Napoles was 23-4. I don't have Whitaker handy. Honestly those numbers don't tell the whole story as there were almost half as many divisions as well as the fact that pep (and guys like him) fought scads of guys who were just out of the top 10 or damned good. Anything above 20 is pretty deep. 30 and.above is simply fantastic. 40 is jaw dropping.
Ah yeah, I've heard the register has a feature like that contained in it. I've got a source that actually has all of the monthly's and pegs by exact rating at the time. Here's Ray Leonard, for example: 1978: Floyd Mayweather, Sr (No. 6 WW) ~ Ray enters WW ranks at No. 8 ~ 1978: Randy Shields (No. 4 WW) 1979: Johnny Gant (No. 4 WW) 1979: Adolfo Viruet (No. 8 JWW) @ 147 1979: Tony Chiaverini (No. 4 JMW) @ 154 1979: Pete Ranzany (No. 5 WW) 1979: Andy Price (No. 8 WW) 1979: Wilfred Benitez (World WW Champion) 1980: Dave "Boy" Green (No. 7 WW) 1980: Roberto Duran (No. 2 WW) - LOSS 1980: Roberto Duran (World WW Champion) 1981: Larry Bonds (No. 15 WW) <-- they did Top 15 then 1981: Ayub Kalule (World LMW Champion) 1981: Thomas Hearns (No. 1 WW, Titlist) 1982: Bruce Finch (No. 6 WW) 1984: Kevin Howard (No. 15 WW) 1987: Marvin Hagler (World MW Champion) 1988: Donny Lalonde (No. 4 LHW) @ 168 1989: Thomas Hearns (No. 5 SMW) - DRAW 1989: Roberto Duran (No. 2 MW) 1991: Terry Norris (No. 1 JMW) #2 Welterweight of All-Time.
