I'll be honest I'd rather sit down with a murderer than a guy who fists himself with spoons.

Disliked DLH when he was fighting, I saw through all that nice guy image.

    Good fighter though.

Anyone that can flash a million dollar smile in an instant i'd be very wary of, ever since the Olympics he was a sly little ****, just really threw people as he could really really fight. Fists himself with spoons lol, what an embarrassment he is

I judge promoters off of how they treat their fighters. Now honestly, a lot of the guys on Golden Boy aren't getting a lot of attention but the ones that are benefitting from promotional are making serious moves. he isn't ****ing Canelo over, Munguia is in a great spot right now after being completely unknown last year, Diego De La Hoya is a good prospect, Ryan Garcia is very popular for a new boxer, David Lemieux is in a great position in the MW division for a guy that misses weight and has limited boxing ability. So no, I don't consider him a scumbag.

King is a double murderer who ripped off many of his fighters, sold them down the river and was a ***** to near everyone whose met him by the sounds of it.

Oscar might do some strange stuff and was a bit of a fake personality but ultimately his flaws have mainly been to his own demise and not others. He's a long way of the likes of King.

When Oscar takes a boxer coming off drug dependency rehab and having serious mental.problems, checks him out of his clinic and sends him to fight a future ATG who he has no intention of fighting back then get back to me.

King killed two people and Mike Jacobs was in bed with the mob. Oscar just shoves kitchen utensils up his ass.

Did King advise his fighters to duck the best opponents when they were in their prime though?

For modern boxing, absolutely not. He will never usurp Don King in that regard.

Pre WW II times, boxing in NY was controlled by the mob. They truly had a stranglehold when it came to who was allowed to fight for titles (NY was the hotbed/epicenter for championship fights for at least 50 years.) Obviously African American's were highly discriminated for the better part of 5 to 6 decades nationwide, but especially in NY where there was a monopoly on the sport that was controlled solely by the mafia. SO no "promoter" will ever get to that point in general since their level of criminality went into RICO status.

King is a nasty piece of work. I'm looking forward to the day he finally kicks the bucket.
