Dempsey is easily one the most ruthless, vicious boxers in the history of the sweet science...!!! And the fact that he lived with Charlie Chaplin is pretty bad-ass too...!!!
I'm confused by your comment, do you not want people to contribute anything to your thread? I post primarily on the General forum and occasionally on the classic forum. I stand by my point that he was a diva once he became the champion, in fact he was probably the first version of FLoyd Mayweather Jr- basically around the time he became "Money." He was part of the first million dollar gate and he went from a guy who literally fought anyone and up to 15 times annually to a guy who fought around once a year, if that. This was during a time when guys would normally fight 10+ times annually, so for a lineal champion to only fight once a year was very strange for the time. Still a great fighter, no doubt.
