I haven’t seen any of his fights but plan on checking them out next weekend if I have time, unless you all don’t see any real potential in him.

So how about it? Does McKean have the talent to be a top player in the division?

    I don't think so.

Rangy and fit but outside of that has no remarkable attributes.
Though that coupled with being a southpaw might see him overachieve against the horribly out of shape crop of fighters that seem to around at the moment.
I mean he probably already has.

Rice had him absolutely gone a couple of times but he looked like he had trained 5 days for the fight and was eventually overwhelmed.

A 29.5 year old, 17-0 (11 KO's) McKean was en route to getting a gift decision in Australia against an out of shape version of the reasonably tough American journeyman Jonnie Rice (McKean's best opponent thus far) before stopping Rice with a couple of seconds to go in the 12th. I don't think he's going anywhere.

Nah he's not up to much. I think he'll be fed to Parker before being fed to the rest of the matchroom stable. Doesn't hit overly hard for a HW and I think he has a suspect chin and most recently struggled against Kiwi journeyman Kiki Toa Leutele.

There is a possibility that he could fight Hrgovic, he would definitely be the toughest opponent for Hrgovic so far...

He might be able to beat the likes of Bryan, but that's not saying much.
