When is Denis Boystov gonna get in there with gatekeeper and make his run at a title.

This guy has at times looked real promising. His style could create problems for either of the bros, and if he was patient enough to let Haye inside, he'd KO him IMHO.

This guy needs to get off the pot and fight a contender or a gatekeeper soon before he becomes a waste of potential like Povetkin.

Well you gotta consider he can keeping fighting the kinda guys he is now or move up and fight a Klitschko, or Haye. And no one wants to fight Haye or Klitschko right now! They are just such equally dominate champions!

As long as he is with Universum I can't see it happening.

Boystov is still quite young, he is playing the waiting game till Klitschko retire, then step it up. Let's face reality, Boystov has no chance at this moment!!

Povetkin is doing the same but the only downside is that Povetkin is already 30+

I agree with this. Boystoy can actually play the waiting game because he's young and it looks there's noone on the horizon after the Klits retire. He's my #1 pick at the moment as possible successor to the brothers.

Now, why doesn't Sauerland approach Universum about that for the Dec. 11 fight. That's perfect! Boytsov is an undefeated HW in the top 10 of Ring. Yeah, why would Chauncy Welliver get consideration before Boytsov?

That's rich. I mean like Baluga caviar rich. Evervyone wants to fight Haye. He's easily the weakest title holder. But David isn't keen on tough fights...Not when he can fight guys on the verge of retirement and still draw a decent pay check. :D

Boystov would stop Haye if Haye tried to trade with him. Haye couldn't dominate in the special olympics much less the HW division.

I was not implying that Boystov IS ready for a run at the bros, but like another has said he looks like he might be a future champion. What I was saying is that he needs to get in there with the likes of a David Tua, Hasim Rahman, Eddie Chambers, Sam Peter, etc.

Show us he has got what it takes to compete at this level.
From what I've seen he looks real promising, but against the likes of WHO? Jason Gavern. Yeah right!:tired

    WBA Rankings

    1. Ruslan Chagaev
    2. Nicolay Valuev
    3. Dennis Boytsov
    4. Alexander Ustinov
    5. Odlainier Solis
    6. Alexander Povetkin
    7. Alexander Dimitrenko
    8. Kali Meehan
    9. Tomasz Adamek
    10. Dennis Bakhtov

Boystov's next fight is likely a warm-up. After that he should pursue Haye or Chagaev.
