Apparently this guy is only 24 and he only started boxing when hw was 20. He picked up a bronze medal in the olympics and he is a very fast leaner . he is 6'7 and weights 213 pounds but i am sure he will put on about 20 pounds as he moves up the ranks . He is quick for a heavyweight and seems to have some power . Has this guy got the potential to beat the klitschkos and haye in a few years .

too early to tell. He will be moved very slow due to his lack of amature experience. I dont know if he will ever fight the klits. they may retire by then.

He's probably the next great disappointment to put in a payday appearance with the Klitschkos. Damn Arreola's flabby self, he's just about the only contender today who does more than stand there and hope to last 12.

No need to rush this kid...He is a good 2 years off fighting ranked contenders let alone champs.

Far to early to tell if he has the goods to be a successful pro. Excellent athlete though, which is good to see at heavy.

agreed. He's still got a lot of learning to do and he's not moving very fast at this point, hopefully he can get 10 fights in next year. Deontay and Rahman Jr. are 2 guys to look forward to if your an American HW boxing fan

lol more for fun than anything else.

But if you want an honest answer, getting KO'd by a CW isn't a good sign.

Wilder has a good right hand, nothing else. Watch a fight of his and it's blatantly obvious that he'll never amount to anything.

He's a much shittier version of Michael Grant.

    imo

What's with the hate? He still has a good amount of time to improve.

:patsch so he'll "never amount to anything" because he's young, inexperienced, and has some flaws???? Seriously what type of reasoning is that? Anyways he's being trained by Mark Breland, I'll be looking to see some improvement from him next year. And your wrong about him only having a right hand, he's got a really strong jab

I think he is. I've been following this kid since his qualifiers and is getting better and better with each fight. His left hand is getting a lot better but is still a little too right hand happy. He's basically got it all. All that's left is hwo his chin will hold up when tested. If he can pass that test then the sky is the limit.

Guess a better question is " what is that Romanov" guy up to. Looks like he has heavy hands.

Being able to qualify for the Olympics with just a couple years experience shows he's got something. He just needs to have some fights . He should also hire himself out as a sparring partner for the Klit's for some more education. Haven't heard much from him lately, which may be a mistake, he should be busy.
