Is Deontay Wilder 1 fight away from being a PPV attraction? Similar to May's rise from 2004-2005?

Wilder he wants that PPV action,
But a man crushing cans don't give much satisfaction,
Though he stalks journeymen with the skill of a hunter,
That's doesn't appeal to the everyday punter,
Aside from Ortiz it's usually felt,
His opponents are rubbish since he won the belt,
And 70 bucks would be too much I feel,
To ask one to pay for Wilder Breazeale,
For PPV value you don't have to look far,
Cross the Atlantic there stands a heavyweight star,
The man who makes Wilder look like a tramp,
I'm talking of Joshua the unified champ,
His revenue soars whilst his record it rocks,
Cause AJ's a guy who can actually box,

Lol 2 years later and he's still waiting to be a PPV fighter.

But technically he is 1 fight away from being on PPV, he just needs to find his balls and sign the damn contract. He might even get on PPV after losing to Joshua. Look at Parker, loses to Joshua, yet Hearn gives him a PPV fight in his very next fight.

Hearn said the entire "50 million scam" Wilder pulled was in hope to elevate his profile and become a PPV fighter in the US. He said they're talking about a rematch vs. Ortiz on PPV. Sounds ridiculous if Wilder tried that.

Does sound a bridge too far, while Wilder has definitely grown his profile in the US, he's a long way, away from being a PPV attraction. He doesn't even have a contract with Showtime, he just fights on there on a fight by fight basis, if a network doesn't even have enough faith in them to put them on contract the idea of them stumping up the cash to risk a PPV seems outlandish at best.

Even if Wilder became unified champion he wouldnt be able to sell out a village hall in Alabama.

    His marketing is terrible.

    3 managers??????

What are they managing exactly? How to divert Wilder's money into their own pockets? How to manage getting him low pay days?

For the biggest test of his career ,against Luis Ortiz, he sold 14,000 tickets at the 19,000 capacity Barclays Center Joshua does 90,000 at Wembley or Cardiff.
Joshua will defend against no3 Povetkin .Wilder will defend against Breazeale whom Joshua beat the **** out of in7 rds in his 17th fight.
What more do you need to know?

His biggest purse is $2.5 m for Ortiz, he was offered several $ M more than Parker got to fight Joshua, a total of$15m but turned it down.Quack Quack!

This.... for a guy with 3-4 managers, promoters, advisors, Wilder is hands down the worst managed, promoted, advised fighter in boxing and is getting taken to the cleaners by crooks with mob connections.

    Exactly.

Hood 'smarts' are useless in the corporate world and Deontay is learning this the hard way.

Not to mention he owes WOB/Povetkin 4.3 million, is being sued by both Povetkin and Breazeale for millions more, makes you laugh and fart when Wilder accuses other fighters of being milked lol.

Was Wilder ever asked why he has three (!) managers?

One for wilder, one for the bronze bomber and a spare just in case he has a further splitting of his personality.

I hope Rybinsky takes Wilder to the cleaners. Teaches him a lesson he will never forget. Wilder needs to be gravely punished for running away before a ruling was made.

If Wilder looses his next fight Rybinsky could end up owning Wilder and may put him to work as one of his butlers wearing a dog collar and pokadot suit.

Let this be a lesson to all of you that dared support Wilder running away from Russia before a ruling was made.

Once again, Wilder does not like stepping up even when it means more money, its really not the money with Wilder, its his fear of loosing.

I have never seen such a good heavy with such fear of stepping up. Ever.

And Wilder still wonders why he isnt a bigger draw??

    Hmmm what could it be?
