Or just overrated and undefeated by facing chumps who will get schooled by Wlad like Canelo did to Mayweather.

hes athletic, fast and has good power. his chin is also not as bad as people make it to be. but, his defense is his only problem

he's good by today's HW standards, which isn't saying much, as it's Wlad light years above the rest

That telephone pole jab is his defense, and it looks fairly impenetrable so far..

He's trash, that's why he's still fighting bums only. Avoided 10 millions to fight Povetkin, refused to fight Jennings, Thompson....

His resume: 32 nobodies, 1 top 10 contender.

All his fights excluding Stiverne meant basically nothing.

But Stiverne really was, and presumably still is, a damn good fighter with a very good KO%.

He basically goes wild against weak opponents ("Windmiller"), but he demonstrated he can do good, controlled boxing in the Stiverne fight.

People are reluctant to admit it because he was so hyped despite beating no one, but Wilder has largely proved himself at this point.

Originally I said to myself "Well, Stiverne might have just had an off night." But I realized if they had a rematch, I would fully expect Wilder to win again. Wilder beat him, and decisively.

Wilder beat a top 10 boxer cleanly and undeniably. It was not close.

I've said this before, but it was one of the biggest defeats in the HW division we've seen recently that didn't involve Wlad.

    Wilder is for real.

He has problems, sure, but they're correctable. In fact, I would say he's all the more exciting because he has so much room for improvement.

I would expect him to defeat anyone except Wlad, Fury, and Povetkin. And he might beat any of those 3. I'm not sure.

Though I don't give him any chance against Povetkin, he's very fast and he can punch. That's good enough to be a contender. Is he good enough to be a title holder? Not sure yet.

..but he already is a title holder. For how long ? Well depends on how long he can get away with cherry picking. I'd expect him to KO Furry if they ever fought but Wlad will be KO'ing Furry soon so he might disappear off the heavyweight scene after that for a while to lick his wounds. By which time Furry makes a comeback Wilder will be then a journeyman with a few KO losses on his record.

You can only fight cans for so long........
