Wilder refusing to take on live bodies for the fans Does that make him a hater of the Fan's and the sport
The IBHOF doesn't use context for exclusion, only inclusion. Deontay Wilder was a recognized champ with 10 titles defenses, the best American heavyweight of his generation, and had brutal, legendary one-punch power. He was no less heroic in that third Fury fight than Vitali was against LL. He's getting in, whether you guys like it or not. It's really not even debatable.
Look pretty similar to me which disproves your whole argument of Wilder having a ‘great resume’. Plus Vitali is the more complete boxer, Sanders > 38 year old Ortiz, and his performance against Lewis > Wilder’s lucky draw with a cooked Fury. Plus Vitali never lost 12-0 in a fight.
The last line of the third paragraph is completely true and I support that point. This isn’t a matter of whether you like it or not, it’s about objective fact and if he is actually worthy of it. Wilder’s resume is thin and simply will never allow him to be considered a great among experts or the majority of fans. It’s not his fault, cherry picking and protected match making is becoming increasingly popular among boxers today and it still shocks me people excuse it. He may get hall of fame, but he will never be considered an ATG.
Wilders 10 WBC title defences and being Champion for 5 years 1 month 5 days guarantees him a place in the HOF,to say anything else is just hating on him .
It’s not a matter of whether he gets in, it’s if he’s worthy when considering his level of opposition? For me he’s clearly not an ATG heavyweight but he is an ATG puncher.
With respect mate, you're excusing it yourself right here if you ask me. It is his fault. He had the belt and even if his managers were telling him he needed to take soft touches because he'd lose against the serious contenders, he still chose to sign the contracts to fight no-hopers. And it was still Wilder himself who made the excuses to not go back and fight Pov, dismissed the idea that he'd fight Whyte, etc. Champions need to demand the big fights and tell their teams to get them made... Until then, it's their fault every bit as much as their team's.
Depends whether you're looking at title reigns or resume quality. There are shorter title reigns in there - there isn't a worse resume.
Again this is not about whether he will get into it, it’s about if he is truly deserving. There are others who imo are not deserving but this isn’t about them, it’s about Wilder.
KINGWILDER and you make this many threads to discredit him?! You should chance your name to JUDAS. It’s ****ing weird.
