Deontay Wilder is Michael Grant in a sad era when no one else is good enough to expose him.
A guy like Ray Mercer would dominate this era. I'm not even gonna compare Wilder and these guys to the greats of other eras.
They'd be the Jeremy Williams' and Darroll Wilsons of the 90s. Worse in the 70s

 

Hes nearly there now. Would still like to see the Dustin "the worm" Nichols rematch before we crown him though.

Both Wilder and Finkel reminded me of a goat when they realized both Wilder and Jsohua were free to negotiate with each other. You ever seen a goat get scared? They go silent and freeze and fall over. Well they certainly went silent and froze. Luckily Haymon got on the phone to the WBC to order the Fury rematch so Wilder had another new excuse to not be able to deal with Hearn and Joshua.

 

Wilder is the greatest air boxer of all time, a bit like me being the best air guitarist of all time when I'm pi55ed. Deonkey as boxers go, is utterly ****ing useless and I'll never be convinced otherwise.

I think after his loss to Fury the hype surrounding the AJ fight is gone. Most people would prefer to see AJ fight Fury now. I genuinely think Fury is the only current heavy that has a chance at beating AJ
