This. Haye had a ton of potential at heavyweight, but never lived up to it.
Haye was also extremely inactive and wasted his prime while Wilder fights consistently.

Wtf does that even mean? Please elaborate. Do you suggest that I root for boxers based on race? Really?

Dude, look at my posts just in this thread. I compared the impending destruction of AJ with the enjoyment I got from KTFO6. You're projecting. Or a drooling feeb. Or both.

I thought David Haye was this generation's David Haye.

Was there another David Haye from a previous generation I wasn't aware of?

Wilder is as equally annoying as Haye but in a different way. Haye has a massive ego thing going on while Wilder behaves like a 5 year old with ADHD.

Both at their peak are similar levels - good, dangerous, but not even close to great.

Both are good athletes, quick but limited technically (although Hate clearly was better in that respect)

So yeah I see quite a few similarities.

Haye looked exciting until his Klitschko fight.
He made alot of money at HW for a cruiser.
Sometimes we have to accept it's a business and a guy like Haye made alot of money being punched in the face, some of it was smoke and mirrors some of it was ability. It happens all the time . It's easy to say now that Ali had no business being in the ring with Holmes, but pre fight the bookies only had him slight underdog.
Wilder is a big fit guy who knows how to win, I think time may tell he's been underrated.
