He's been knocked out in the amateurs and was badly hurt in his fights against Dustin Nichols, Harlod Sconiers and Eric Molina.

What happens if Anthony The MBE Joshua puts one on his chin? I do not dare to imagine.

Wilder is the WBC champion, but his chin really is worrying!! :deal

If and its a big IF that joshua could land where molina, nichols, Duhaupas, szpilka landed, then i think there is a big possibilty that joshua could ko wilder.

A ringside report from the Sconiers fight that Wilder has had taken down from youtube:

I was at the Sconiers fight (which took place at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, Calif., in October of 2010, it was on the undercard of an Eloy Perez fight). I can tell anyone who wasn’t there that Wilder was not only dropped hard by the journeyman (it was the second round, if memory serves me – he dropped Sconiers and then Sconiers dropped him), he got up on VERY wobbly legs

I think that is conclusive evidence that Wilder has a fragile glass jaw.

'In opening bout action, 2008 Olympic bronze medalist, Deontay Wilder, after scoring two first round knockdowns, survived a major scare after having to rise from the canvas at the end of the second round after being floored hard by veteran Harold Sconiers. With only the second round bell saving Wilder from being knocked out, he then got his senses together in the third round and rebounded to knock Sconiers down twice more in the fourth round. The fourth knockdown was a hard overhand right to the forehead of Sconiers that put him down hard against the bottom rope prompting the referee to call an end to the fight at 1:09 of the fourth round. With the victory, Wilder improves to 13-0 (13KO’s) while the hard luck Sconiers falls to 17-21-2 (11KO).'

Gabe Montoya was in attendance that night too

'Two years ago October against Harold Sconiers, Wilder hit the deck hard after an uppercut out of nowhere by Sconiers, who despite his 17-20-2 record could bang a little bit. Wilder took forever to recover and it was definitely a red flag. But that was two years ago and 13 fights ago. As with all prospects, the questions will appear, like Sconiers uppercut, from out of nowhere. With proper gym preparation, Wilder will have the answers the way he did that night against Sconiers. Though on shaky legs, Wilder was able to stop Sconiers in four rounds.'

I've watched the fight. It was close and the judges gave it to Joshua

You do realise they aren't just given to you for winning a gold medal either because Carl Frampton is an MBE :hi:

Its quite telling that Wilder's management went through the trouble of forcing Youtube to take down any footage of Wilder vs. Sconiers :rofl:rofl

It is Ming dynasty and of considerable value now. They want to hold on to it and get the most amount of dough they can.

It's very worrying indeed, Wilder is lucky it doesn't snow in Alabama, I dare not imagine what happens when a snowflake detonates on his chin.
