The title says exactly what i’m asking, is he?

I personally think he is. He may be in a bit of a dip right now but I think at his peak he is an elite coach in this sport. I personally feel he has rock solid fundamentals a great balance of defence & offence, smart tactical knowledge and good game plans just to name a few things.

    what do you think?

    Absolutely.

At one point he trained Spence and Charlo to be p4p level fighters. He brought the best out of Ryan Garcia that we’ve seen. And I think Joshua would’ve done a lot better sticking with him.

It’s not his fault that Spence crashed his car, Jermell took an unwinnable fight against Canelo, Joshua ditched him for an inferior coach, and Garcia went mental and also ditched him.

Dude has a claim to being the best coach going. He teaches the best fundamentals of any coach I can think.

I believe he’s mostly retired now. Reynoso trained Ryan before his last fight, James was just the fight night coach. Doubt he’ll take anything now other than BIG money offers.

I’m glad someone agrees i’ve spoken to some friends i have and people at work who dont rate him at all which i think is crazy.

the part about your post which really got me was “Garcia went mental” hahah
