    I have been extremely impressed with Derrick James work with Erroll Spence Jr and Jermell Charlo. I think he may well be the best boxing trainer in the world right now.

    Oh Jesus.:facepalm: Clearly, based on how badly Jermell has regressed, not even close.

    Charlo looks wayyyy bigger than 154lbs.

    He should be fighting a few weight divisions higher.

    Another weight bully &#&#,¥#;$&&#*#€€#_×^

    Hard to pick the best trainer right now.

    You'd think, standing next to Spence, he would only look marginally bigger, but really it's quite a leap.

    And dont forget that Spence weighs in the 170s when fully hydrated and walking around.

    These PBC boxers are weight bullies and karma is going to catch up with them all.

    LMFAO

    Bringing Charlo up under James is just ridiculous. Shows again that you're just pushing an agenda.

    Even Charlo fans like @Pimp C admitted Mell is looking worse under James, just relying on his power not really fighting to his strengths.

    James is nowhere near the best, although James had one of the very best training him .The late Great Curtis Cokes Not even Curtis could make a champ out of him though

    Jermell has not regressed at all but interesting you think so which my indicate you don’t really understand the fight game.

    Good trainer but has done a better job with Spence than with charlo who has fallen in love with his power since teaming up with James.

    Curtis Cokes was a great trainer which helps to explain why James is so well schooled. Who would have thought years back Jermell Charlo is on the verge of becoming undisputed champion at 154 pounds.

    I was very impressed with his rematch stoppage of the well schooled Harrisson and the way he took Rosario’s belt. I think Jermell Charlotte is coming into his own. Never envisaged we would be at the stage with him on the verge of becoming undisputed champion. What a journey.

    Yes he is not as talented as Spence but I must say he surprised me with his comeback victory over the talented well schooled Harrisson a fine boxer from the mid-west where for me the best boxers in the world come from. Hermes Charlotte on the verge of becoming Undisputed champion at 154. Pretty no one envisaged this happening. On Saturday he will need to box not just rely on his power against Castanobif he is to win.

    Really? I wasn't. He was losing the rematch against Harrison and when he wasn't dropping Rosario, he was losing that match as well. He needed to be bailed out by his power both times. That wasn't coming close to happening against opponents like Rosado or even Martirosyan. Even though I thought he lost to Trout, he performed against Austin even better than he did against Rosario and Harrison.
