Its love-hate. I really liked him early on, (like many) grew frustrated at his choice to fight zombies, but am quickly putting it past me now that he is fighting guys like Beck and Price.

Lets be honest: he is big, has tremendous offensive skills, but a weak chin and sketchy defense. He could end up being either Jerry Cooney/Mark Breland, or Tommy Hearns/ Wladimir Klitschko, depending on how he wants to develope.

 

Julius Long is far more likely a comparrison.

He's ****ing lame. How can anybody waste his physical prime fighting boxers who are ranked below #500 on boxrec? How does his manager even find these guys? Why not box a journeyman instead?

 

because he has possibly the worst Glass Jaw of any "known" boxer today.

The first solid shot that lands from a top 100 heavyweight is putting him to sleep.

They will match him softly, build a 40-0 record and send him in to cash out in 30 seconds against a Klitschko.

Wilder is so bad no big promoter is taking notice of this guy. Everybody knows this is a train wreck waiting to happen.

The second Wilder is in the ring with a half-decent HW he'll be in trouble.

Nobodies really hyping him yet/anymore and for good reason. He has a couple credible wins vs Alexander, Beck, Sconiers, Long, and Cota.

I think Beck is solid journeyman and woulda beat him if he was garbage as many think he is. Fact is that Beck was crushing Clevel and club fighters himself only 5 yrs ago. Now, he's basically become a stepping stone for prospects and fringe contenders. Deotay thoroughly destroyed him, although I thought Beck coulda went further into that one.

Price has a win over Hamer and with his undefeated record could be a huge step for Wilder. If he does as well with Price, and stops him as well, a fight with Jennings would be a great step for both of them.:good
