Haney is a great raw talent with some special skills but he has a few flaws and things to work on if he really wants to make it to the elite: - Needs to improve his style overall, we saw him in a couple of close fights on the cards because the judges didn't appreciate his style at all running away from his opponents - i want to see him committing more to his power punches, i think he has some decent power as we saw him knocking Antonio Morans head off with one single punch and Moran is a very tough and durable guy but he's not committing to those power punches very often so he looks like a guy who can't crack an egg which might be true or not, i still want to see him going more for his shots - chin is unfortunately a big fat questionmark at this point albeit i wouldn't overreact to the fact that he was hurt by Linares. Linares can hurt a lot of guys. People forgot he dropped Loma. Nevertheless i have a slight feeling that his style is mostly due to chin issues. He reminds me of Anthony Joshua somehow. Joshua hasn't a bad chin in general so he's not getting dropped often but he's getting rocked and buzzed quickly! Especially with those counter hooks in close range. I like Haney though. Since taking the Kambosos fight in Australia i start to like him even more. I hope he makes it. He's way more likeable than all the other guys at 135 (Tank, Garcia, Lopez etc.)
Its not his fault the guy with the belt wouldnt fight him I think the jury is still out on him but I think he wins tonight
He better be ready he will be with a Spartan from the hood of Sydney. Kambosos is a giant killer bayby. His mental next level.Kambosos wants this a war every second but i feel like Haney doesn't Prolly box and move. Like your typical slick American boxer. We'll see..Haney probably spoil a lot. He can't do that in Australia.
