If it was a robbery then most boxing writers from other sites will say it was a "controversial" decision but not one so far say it except the dummies in esb forum.

Biggest Robbery !? Some people had Alexander winning, so I dont think so. People go too far with these topics in the heat of the moment.

    This robbery equals Froch-Dirrell.

Funny thing is though that most of the posters that bitched about that hometown cooking are crying and saying Alexander won tonight.

Whitaker Chavez didn't go to the judging and so it doesn't apply here.

I think it was even worse than Froch Dirrell. At least Froch landed some good shots against Dirrell and had him hurt. Alexander didn't land anything.

Froch didn't land anything from what I remember, but then again my memory was telling me that Kirkland was stylistically close to Pavlik:nut. Then I went and re-watched tape and felt like a jackass. I am pretty sure though that Froch didn't come close to hurting Dirrell.

sounds like an intriguing fight. Watching cloud vs johnson atm. A little behind - was watching UFC 117, so im catching up now. Chael Sonnen had won the first 4 rounds thru ground&pound. Anderson Silva caught him in a leg triangle choke in the last 2min of the 5th round!

Unfortunately, I've seen too many to want to rank them.

    heres my definition of ROBBERY.....
the announcers during the fight think he lost and tell you his undefeated record is most likely over....the cornerman that is purely frustrated every round at his fighter telling him in every way other than spelling it out that you are " blowing it kid" the crowd that is dead silent and its the hometown fighters back yard. youre beat up, tired and bloody and when the bell for 12 ends you walk up to your corner man and ask if he thinks he won the fight..... then , with all that said..... you still win by 8 rounds to 4.
that my friends is a robbery
