Dillian Whyte might be officially journeyman now. He took brutal KO loss against Povetkin so he will never be the same. I expect him to lose if he fights Joyce or Dubois. If he rematches Povetkin he gets knocked out again.

At this stage I don't see him beating anyone who's a legitimate threat to unseat Joshua or Fury so if you call that a journeyman then yes

No, still ranked. #7 by TBRB, currently ranked number two by Ring, obviously he'll drop down.

If you're in the top ten you can't be a journeyman. You're one of the ten best guys in the world at doing your job in your weight class.

I wouldn't call him a journey man yet but he's getting close if Joyce beats him he'd be one then in my books

Why would he be a journeyman? He's still a contender. If he goes on to lose 3-4 of his next 5 fights, then yea that tag should be considered. At this point, it's too early.

    Kevin Johnson = Journeyman
    Chris Arreola = Journeyman
    Dillian Whyte = Contender

This. He definitely isn’t a journeyman over one loss. Whyte is still a contender and still has both the potential and youth to be a world champion. But, he definitely needs to start taking his conditioning and his competition more seriously, since he underestimated and older fighter in Povetkin and paid dearly for it.

He is a gate keeper yes but he’s a long way from journey man status yet. You are reading too much into the Povetkin loss. Whyte and Povetkin are both top level operations who could both take wins against anyone other than Fury or Joshua

What the **** kind of logic is this?

A top ten contender loses to another top 10 contender and that means he's a journeyman?

What does a contender look like in your head?

He did an interview less than 24hrs later, he sounded dumb but if he didn't there might be cause for concern.

DW is fine, and this HW division is weak enough that he can go on and still have a decent career, and you can't be journeyman and be a PPV draw at the same time.

Whyte is still improving. Limited fighter, always will be, but he is an improving fighter, and has made strides in his conditioning. If he is a journeyman, he is one that can still improve to knock off the tier below the top dogs.
