Dirrell is legit. He was in there with a guy who didn't want to fight. I would like him finally get a title shot this year if not fight Ward.

Ward and Dirrell IMO are the class of the list.

You think so? I haven't seen enough of him to form a real opinion.

Jacobs is a beast. I'd bet money that he has a better career than Ward, at least. Like Dirrell, he also has tools coming out of his eyeballs. I think most of his fights are up on youtube. Was a 2-time national GG champion before he turned 21, great power, great fundamentals, almost as fast as Dirrell, and has a mean streak like Kirkland. Like anyone at his level, the question marks are his chin (it hasn't been tested yet, though I don't believe he had problems with it in the amateurs) and whether he can build up stamina, especially since he's been knocking everyone out within a round or two.

    Quillin is nothing special though.

The guy in my avatar (Fernando Guerrero) is pretty good too, though I suspect he'll end up campaigning at 160. He's a little undersized for super middleweight.

Dirrell's competition since developing into a TV fighter overall flushes out as okay. When it's been good, it's been pretty good and when it's been bad it's been pretty bad.

He and Ward need to mix it up in 2009. Two pretenders enter, one contender's rendered. :good

    You're bviously a troll. :hi:
You don't exist anymore for me.

P.S. You should learn to count. Bute was up after 8 real seconds.

Obviously you don't know the rules. He had not to be able to continue, because the fight was over. Read the rules. In any other round, the ref would have checked if he was able to continue. Not at the end of the 12th round. That's the IBF and the unified boxing rules. You should be ashamed of writing something without informing yourself properly but eh!, on ESB, half of the posters are like you. Effortless.

That would be in any round. You can't be saved by the bell, but all you need to do is get to your feet, and once you do that, you have the entire minute between the rounds to recuperate.

I'm sorry, but you get hometown decision in the States too. Sadly, it's like that everywhere with boxing...Montreal is not worst than Las Vegas...
