When Tyson left him, that was the beginning of the end. To his credit, he put on some mega fights during his term as a big promotor and always tried to make the mega fights happen, unlike Arum........ It's the same with all these big promoters. They bleed their fighters dry (W@rren, King, Arum etc etc) and their fighters leave them.
Arum may be bad for the fans but he isn't nearly as bad to his fighters as Don King. In fact, Arum is actually good to his fighters and knows how to build fighters. Top Rank > Golden Boy (from a fighter's perspective).
Mayorga is his main attraction, kind of a circus act. But I agree, would rather see arum done than king
