Donaire's counter left is a thing of beauty. I wouldn't say Donaire is the best counter puncher currently but I think he's up there somewhere.

true. the left that sent martinez to the canvas the first time was quite a thing of beauty.

it was angled in such a manner that would surprise you that it still generated some pop.

it was more like a hook uppercut which slipped by martinez high guard.

    From ESPN.com:

    http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/columns/story?columnist=rafael_dan&id=3911650

"Donaire's days at flyweight are about to be over. The "Filipino Flash" is moving up to face Rafael Concepcion (13-3-1) for a vacant interim 115-pound belt in the main event of Top Rank's upcoming "Pinoy Power" pay-per-view card in Las Vegas.

    Next: Aug. 15 vs. Concepcion."

The thing is if Donaire's power will be carried along when he goes up in weight.
