Yes, April 8th, and he will spar fellow lefties, Lebedev and Chakhkiev to prepare.

I would prefer watching Makabu vs Lebedev! What a war it would be!
Drozd is too slick, too fast, too skilled to go to war and fight inside a small trench with blood in his eyes.He will run and connect, run and connect and win a point decision over the African ko banger.

    Good point,mate!
Well,Drozd has more experience than Mchunu and far more quality fights both at the pros and the amateurs.
Nonetheless, the African banger can end a fight very quickly with one of his bombs.Thats why I am looking forward to their encounter,but................I would have prefered watching him take on Lebedev. What a war it would be:bbb

Makabu is a beast I think Drozd has got his work cut out here. He can win it but he'll have to be on his game.

    My thoughs,mate! My thoughts,mate!

I bet my money on a point decision for Drozd, but I concede that anything is possible in their encounter. The African may even be able to give Drozd short shrift and take him out in the very first round.

Yeah this one could go either way. I'm really looking forward to it. Drozd can punch a bit himself so Makabu will have to be wary of his power as well.

Agreed, and Makabu is a slow starter and while a slugger he is very calculated.
Would have been a great 15 round fighter in the old days.
