Seems like a good bloke but Pavlik would destroy him.

Duddy would be a decent fighter left to his own devices but this whole irish american quest for their own great white hope has turned his career into a circus.Playing up to the "fighting irish" stereotype bull**** they have in the states and getting his faced turned to mush.Having watched the undercard I think Joe Greene would give Pavlik a better fight than JD

Duddy "wasnt that good" Ron? get a grip mate.

    Duddy was ****in awful!

I like the guy, but he was woefully exposed & I hate using that exposed word. But Duddy was. No defence, & where was his big punch? he had to run like a chicken to steal a decision which he never deserved.

Pavlik is a big awkward guy with heavy hands. He will beat Duddy quickly. You are perfectly right to say what you did Ron, how any guy can defend Duddy after that performance I will never know...

Duddy is a good offensive fighter, but defense not so good. Pavlik will kill him.

He's great fun to watch, seems like a nice genuine bloke and was refreshingly honest in the post fight interview, that said Pavlik will **** him

it is one where he is based in New York and Jake Lamotta walks in the gym, it gets a little cringe worthy

well i was in one of my less confrontational moods dunky! duddy to me looks like a decent european level fighter, from what i've seen so far,but i know there are many who've seen more of him than me.however on saturday he just ate up right hands all night and anything else that was thrown his way for that matter.i couldn't help but imagine that it was pavlik in there with him, because no matter how sturdy his chin is,he would get sparked and probably pretty quickly.i like the kid he's game with decent skills, but i fear he is being pushed along way over his head.

I really like Duddy but he needs alot more experience before being put in with [Pavlik or Abraham.

He looks like a short career fighter.

Based on saturdays perofrmance Duddy-Pavlik has ko1 written all over it... In the past Duddy has looked a good puncher but everything who threw on sat looked pulled. Instead of 'speed, speed' he should have been thinking hands up and power.

I think he will be fun to watch in the Mickey Ward/Arturo Gatti mould, but will always fall short gainst the really good fighters.

I personally think his footwork is terrible aswell as his defence, but he is obviously fun to watch!
