Let's see: Dimitrenko - always overrated, despite his height and reach, he never had a threatening jab, most his knockouts came in infight.
Povjetkin - Very good boxer, but somewhat heads down and go foreward-style. Declined a little after the Chambers fight
Valuev - big guy who can beat B- level fighters but not a threat to the elite.
Chagaev - very good boxer, maybe a little too "amateurish"
Klitschko V - elite level highest knockout-percentage once quit against byrd got beaten in a GREAT fight against lewis
Klitschko W - was beaten 3 times, but seems to be pretty much invincible now.

In short: Comparing Dimitrenko with the Klitschkos is just a little stupid. Right now eastern boxing is still dominating HW, Hell the Klitschkos alone dominate it.

Chambers did well against ONE Eastern European fighter but this is not enough to draw such a conclusion. Dimitrenko was never considered a KlitschKO level. Plus Chambers did lose to another Eastern European fighter.

    So it is not overrated.

When top guys fight top guys somebody is bound to be exposed. In the Dimitrenko case it wasnt Eddie Chambers who exposed him, it was Timo "The big oak" Hoffman that did it. He came into the fight with prime Dimitrenko overweight, old, over the hill and nearly knocked Dimitrenko out. Dimitrenko was so tired at the end that was falling all over the ring from the wind Hoffman's missed punches created. His stamina was exposed, his defence and chin were exposed.

Dimitreko lost yes, but did he get "destroyed", no. I scored the fight 116-110. Dimitrenko met someone that didn't mesh with his style, A fast counterpuncher. He'll be back, he has a good offense and a great chin, plus he's fun to watch. His frame is alittle light I think, Put some weight on him and see if he can become a foreman type fighter (Great chin- big power- slow). Remember that type of fighter loses vs a slick fighter most the time (Foreman- Morrison, which was way more of a blowout). And before you get bent out of shape, no i'm not saying he's Foreman, just saying he could go that way on focusing on his strengths.

Who said Dimitrenko was a top guy? I think both Klitschko's, Chagaev, Ibragimov, and Povetkin are better. That is 5 fighters.

Povetkin, who is the lone non-champion of the 5 defeated Chambers.

I don't think this heavyweight divison is bad. I do think there are some sour grapes out there.

haye's stamina issues are as relevant as wlad's. he gassed once, in his 11th pro fight, against a former world champion. big ****ing deal.

You really made 2000 posts in just one month?

The Klitschkos absolutely rule the division, Valuev is the only other champ, Povetkin is the top contender, Boystov is the top young prospects, so...

no, they are not overrated just because Eddie Chambers beat Dimitrenko.

The Eddie Chambers who lost to an Eastern European fighter. :yep

yes they are and chambers was still green when he fought povetkin, and would most likely win a rematch, if povetkin shows up like a doughboy like he did against estrada....
