I would say yes. I believe he has surpassed guys like Haymon and Arum in terms of influence.

It will be very interesting to see how the DAZN deal plays out. :chuck:

If Hearn has supplanted Arum or Haymon, which is arguable, then how powerful is Anthony Joshua? A move from him to either of the above could shift the balance of power.

Yes there is no other powerhouse like the old days when Don King ruled the world Golden boy put too many beans on Canello so Eddie is probably the biggest promoter now

Not yet but he’s certainly got the potential to become one.

Depends who he signs and how well this deal with DAZN goes. At the moment he's definitely one of the big players but he's yet to really have the kind of dominance in the US he has in the UK.

No. A TV deal that has yet to fruition doesn't change the landscape of politics

Barry still has a lot of influence over all of the Matchroom empire. But fair play to Eddie, he's doing a great job with the business he inherited...

Eddie Hearn may have just killed boxing. They will need undefeated "stars" to be the engine of success for DAZN, so you're gonna have a situation like PBC, but on steroids. No one that's undefeated and a name is gonna fight anyone that poses more than a 25% threat. Unlike football, baseball, or basketball, boxing has only a handful of superstars.

This. Haymon and Arum have made more mega fights than I can remember. Hearn is a big deal in the U.K., but he still has a long way to go when comes to him being seen as major competition to the top promoters in the United States. Besides Joshua-Wlad I can't think of any other major fights that he's put together, but the Wilder-Joshua fight would be a great start for an upstart like Hearn.

Yes i agree although he's just marginally more powerful than Mick Hennesy.
