I think Teofimo Lopez could be in the running for an ATG LW puncher. That right hand of his is potent, something Richard Commey can certainly attest to. He was 14-1, 11 KOs down at 135 and when he connected clean usually ended affairs quite quickly. I don't know if he was a bigger puncher than Rosario though.

I can see the similarities although I think Pipino was more accomplished with what he had. He ended up with the best welterweight reign and boxing career he could have had with his skills, yet I think Edwin came out ( he had a great career) less than what he could have. I thought he was going to knock out Chavez in 87. He could have been one of the greats with his power and counterpunching skills but something was lacking defensively in Edwin Rosario. Edwin lacked Pipino's discipline and tenacity in many ways. It is interesting how someone who might have been more limited than another fighter can be greater as I think Pipino is. .

I saw him ice Commey in person. He has big power. I actually think Broner might have had more, but Broner telegraphed his punches more and didn’t counter punch like Teo, so the one shot knockouts were less frequent.
