Calzaghe held almost all the belts
    Enzo mac was WBO
    Gavin Rees was WBA

think Pryce was a intercontinental champ.

Rees and Macca both improved a lot when they first signed up with Enzo so you've got to give him a bit of credit.

Maybe I'm wrong but I've never really heard him make himself out to be a world class trainer. All his fighters have been Welsh and he has took a few of them to world title level. Most trainers can only be as good as the fighters they train.

I was laughing in between rounds 3 and 4...
Enzo gets rocked... he is sitting on the stool trying to get the cobbwebs out of his head... and Calzaghe is slapping him in the face over and over to get him to wake up... DUMBASS

enzo has taken, other than his ATG son, a number fighters from a small, tradionally non-fighting community and obtained some belts. not a bad showing mates.

I am sure he is world class. Once you get to that level I think you learn the game really quickly.

Then he needs to start remembering, because some amateurish mistakes seem to be occuring with his fighters. Or perhaps they weren't quite as good as Enzo hyped them up to be in the first place?

Maccarinelli gets punched out by Haye and Afolabi. Rees gets pummelled by Kotelnik. Lockett straight beaten up by Pavlik and retires. Pryce already had six losses anyway and now a seventh thanks to Hall. Even the 'young up-and-comers' like Kerry Hope have faltered.

Without Joe, Enzo's best charge is probably the Nathan Cleverley. And he's still got a ways to go yet.

No, as he clearly doesn't know what defence is.

Enzo complained about his lack of sparring, out of interest does anyone know who he was sparring for this fight considering there is no Joe or Lockett at the gym anymore. Surely Frank Warren could have flown him in a few decent sparring partners.
