agreed. It's all too easy to say 'that would've taken anyone out'. How come it never happens to some guys and always happens to guys like Maccarinelli?
Just one of the eggiest chins in a long time.

It was a hell of a hook...this has nothing to do with having a soft chin - regardless if Enzo has one or not.

I guess because "some guys" have got better defense and don't leave themselves so vulnerable to such devastating shots. I'm not even gonna weigh in on the issue of his chin but that was just a bad bad shot, right on the button.. real head twister from a 200+ lbs professional fighter.

3-2-1 for Frenkel or 3-3 was the most reasonable score. But think about most of these guys are Brits who are indoctrinated by the British press who hype every decent British fighter to atgreatness. They just repeat what the sky-commentators said because they don´t know better.

What is this? Real life satire?

True. What was funny that after the sixth round Wegener told Frenkel to be more active and do more. Frenkel answered "don´t worry, I have a plan". then went out to knock Macca out.
Frenkel has power, is technically skilled, very accurate and good with his timing, is pretty slick and seems to have a decent chin. He is the goods. This fight was a big step up. His best opponent before was a shot Kelvin Davis. And it was his first 12 rounder. Before the fight his trainer gave an interview and said Frenkel isn´t ready yet for this level and that he is not confident that they can win this as all and that he told that Frenkel. I have never ever heard Wegener say this. Frenkel proved him fwrong, even so he looked tight and timid for large portions of the fight. He will improve and rule the cw division in a few years. :deal

Frenkel didn't look as good as i expected him to. macca, a shot european level cruiserweight gave him problems, winning at least 3 out of the 6 completed rounds.

if frenkel does enter the proposed cruiserweight super six, he will find it very tough going. probably needs at least a couple more years before trying to step up to world level

Like I said it was his first 12 rounder and a huge step up in class. You´re underrating Macca too I think. And he had no amateur career to speak of.

He ain´t ready for a super six tourney yet, he needs 1-2 years. But he is only 25.

I knew it would happen. Enzo looked drained and stick thin!

Coming in at 195lb what the **** did he expect? Shots he did land he didnt have the power to shake up the young german. He has a little stick thin pencil neck that twisted very violently by that right hook.

Hope he retires because he can go on like this.
