Is Erik Morales fighting again

He makes claims of a comeback every now and then but is always showing off his heavyweight belly.

I don't think it will happen ever, and I don't want him to embarrass himself.

 

I heard he was in training again about 2 or 3 weeks ago, but haven't heard anything since. I don't think he will and i don't think he should.

 

Why in the world would Erik Morales comeback and damage his rep more than he already has with the four fight losing streak he went out on? Stay retired El Terible... You have nothing left to offer the sport.

 

Dont know how true it is but theres rumours freddie roach wants him as amir khans next opponent!

 

I don't think morales damaged his reputation at all in the last 4 fights

Raheem fight was a bridge to far for him, weight wise.
The other two, well that's manny pacman...no shame in losing to him.
And he lost a disputed decision against Diaz (which i thought he won)

Not to mention everyone pretty much everyone acknowledges the fact he was past his prime in these fights. (shot in his last 2 fights especially)

 

Hope not.

But if Roach has anything to do with it he might.

 

Yeah i think he wants to keep amir away from dangerous fights for as long as possible,and pad his record out against shot fighters.

 

I reckon he will for big money fight with Khan at 140lbs in USA

 

Roach wants him for Amir Khan's next test. Not a big fan of that fight to be honest. Morales doesn't have much to fight for nowadays, last I read he's living comfortably and working in the parks department in Mexico.
