The European fighters seem more hungry, Whenever European's got to America they get robbed savagely. Then American's moan when they get jobbed in Europe.

European fighters show more heart IMO, Last American to show heart was Cunningham.

Well, in number of champions Europe still has a long way to go.

the U.S, Mexico and tiny Puerto Rico still surpass all of europe in that dept

best fighter yanks had was SRR, but Pac just edges him I think. Best heavyweight the yanks had was Tyson, but Vitali has obviously overtaken him now.

Europe has been the major force in boxing for about a decade now and will be for at least another 2 decades.

    Vary true.

In that sense, before 1991, the world boxing championships were almost as ¨worldly¨ as the american baseball ¨world series¨ are. American local circle jerk more than anything :-(

This was specially true at the higher weight classes, where no latin american countries could realistically compete due to size differences. Now cruisers and HW's from all around the world can compete freely and we know the result

Out of the 28 world title belts (WBA, WBO, WBC, IBF) above Welterweight. Europeans own exactly 50% I think. So Europe is already a major force.

Hopefully not. They're boring and tend to be far less creative, and often times less technical. Europeans seem to have more of an issue fluidly mixing offense and defense, as opposed to their Western counterparts. Besides Pac, the elite of the P4P charts are Ward, Martinez, Floyd, and Donaire so I don't think the US has been overtaken quite yet.

If Europe was a continent full of short asses then you'd have a point.

    Below welterweight = short ass
