Holy is a great warrior, but pretty much all fighters until the 70s were as tough or tougher for the simple fact that they truly fought for life and death every time they fought, which was about twice every month. It was a much tougher time than recent years. IMO Archie Moore, Jake lamotta, Ezzard Charles, Henry Armstrong, and so on were all the greatest warriors.

Nice try However I have this fight on Tape and that was probably the only shot this kid landed on evander before Evander nearly took his head off with a left hook that sent this kid off of his feet and nearly out of the ring.

Yes Holyfield was the greatest warrior in the last 25 years this is what a HW champion should behave like.

Bulkl****. Lennox Lewis was far more dominant. Holyfield had to fight hard against every elite opponent he faqce who wasn't overweight. Lewis sometimes cruised, sometimes got an opponent out in 1 - 2 rounds.

Over multiple fights, Holyfield has a positive record only against Tyson. Neutral against Moorer and Ruiz, negative against Bowe and Lewis. Great warrior yes, but alos a dirty fighter who probably wouldn't have done much without steroids. Look at his body at age 19 - 20, that is not someone who naturally has the frame to go toe to toe with Foreman or Tyson. He trained with Lee Haney and the Evan Fields evidence is telling. His head actually got bigger, like Barry Bonds, a sure sign of use of HGH.

I would rate him in the top 3 for the 90's, I would go with Arturo Gatti.

Holyfield is the greatest warrior never gave up in a fight and always came back from losses his perserverance and mental toughness made him the only four time heavyweight champion of the world, name one fighter that has fought with heart problems and still bring wars and win some and lose some, Holyfield is the greatest WARRIOR ever.

Holyfield is a low-IQ moron for all I know.

Pissed away all his money, is in debt and has to keep fighting circus act bums while he's 50 years old, pissing on his legacy. Those are not the trademarks of a great warrior but a strong indication someone isn't very bright.
