    Not convinced obviously.

I would favor Guzman, Campbell, Juan Diaz, Soto, and Funeka to beat him, but I would pick him over Katsidis, David Diaz, Sta. Cruz, Antillon, and an aging Casamayor anytime.

Though let us refrain from talking about him facing either JMM and Pacquaio and knocking them out cold. That is childish.:yep

25-0 all KO, even if most of them were against pedicab drivers, tailors, whores, vegatable vendors, and drug addicts, is impressive, but not enough to hype him as the next best thing in boxing.

Can't fight lol. You haven't seen enough of Valero to come to that conclusion. If you witnessed the Mosquera fight, you would know for a fact that Valero can fight.

It all sounds good, but I don't expect any diehard Pac fans to be good evaluators of Valero's talent.

Only the newbies will be blinded. KO'ing a long list of tomato cans is doing nothing for him, it's just him talking smack about other fighters like they're "ducking" him that's giving him attention when in reality his record is hardly worth bragging about, Margarito-style.

Valero is going to prove himself imo no doubt. He has had a hard road trying to get big fights. He wanted them a few years ago, but why would any champ fight him outside the states, and probably take less money doing that? Valero getting on that motor cycle took maybe a year or two off of his career with the failed CAT scan, but he will be 28 this December, and has plenty time to prove himself.

I think he is overated, but I do think the win over Pitalua was a good one. It's time he take on the David Diaz's and Casamayor's of the division, before you say he can ko Guzman and JMM. I would love to see him face Katsidis, that would be exciting while it lasted, but I believe he would ko Katsidis, relatively quickly.

For someone who always finds time to discredit Pacquaio, it is both funny and expected that you would rate Valero so highly to the point that you think he would beat Pac even at this point in their careers.

Newbies are only new to the site, not to boxing. Anyone can see Valero has talent, but not the resume-yet. The funny thing is, Gamboa is not in Pac's division, and is called a flawed, exciting fighter. Then you get guys who dis Valero, and he IS in Pac's division, and is called a guy who fights bums, and this is his first licensed fight in the states lol. It doesn't add up. The man is 27 years old. The resume will only get better. Don't get it twisted folks. Valero isn't a guy who goes for the ko all the time. He can box, and go rounds if he has to, and he gets maximum leverage on all of his shots.

Now that he's under Bob Arum, he's going to have a path similiar to Cotto's.. Cotto turned pro at around 2001 and it took him nearly 6 years to face a known fighter in Judah.. 6 freakin years.. SO why didnt people talk **** about that? Prior to 07 i always thought that Cotto was a babied fighter which was i never like him that much..

Valero's been in a situation where he's career was stalled. Fighting outside US due to his medical report.... that aint his fault. But he's here now and he'll fight someone soon.. I dont know why some of u are shitting on him so much. U dont even know.

Valero = Ponce De Leon 2: Impressive KO record from mostly fighting tomato cans. Like De Leon he will get exposed as soon as he fights top fighter.

Open your eyes lol. De Leon can't box a lick, but he can punch a bit. Valero can box and punch.
