The Barrera fight didn't show me any signs that PAc was as good as advertised before he fought Marquez.

Speaking of proof, now that's a woman in your avatar that has proven way more than she has to, we're talking all time great stuff here.

The point is that he stepped up in his 11th fight to fight someone dangerous instead of padding his record for 25 fights.

Come on Scar, you had college writing lol. That's my thesis statement lol. You need an attention grabber, and mine grabbed you, and others:lol: lol. Scar, nobody is saying you are wrong. You are right, and I agree with you as far as the hype of a fighter with Valero's resume. It's fun to get on the train and ride until that train derails lol...though

Valero is a 2 time world champion and in terms of quality of opposition his record barley better than Amir Khans.

That PAc was one hell of a young fighter. Freddie Norwood was ranked pfp, and he hit Marquez on the chin, and put him down...and Marquez fought Norwood hard. I posted back then on aol's message boards that Norwood would beat Marquez. Marquez is said to have won that fight though lol. I thought Norwood won. What PAc did to Marquez was something I along with others did not envision because imo Pac beat Marquez, and truly hurt him worse than in their rematch.

Yeah, well others were still learning around their 11th fight so don't blame Valero for not taking on an ex-champ in his 11th fight.

lol, I used to love Darchinian, and when he lost to Donaire, I jumped off the bandwagon and started to appreciate Mijares...until he lost to Darc lol.

What on Earth did Valero learn from his 12th fight when he fought Tomas Zambrano with a record of 0 (0), 4 (2), 0? That he can KO a tomato can?

His record is padded and is hype job waiting to get exposed.

I went over this many times before but Im more than positive that Nallege isn't Amsterdam.. I know how Amsterdam sounds and i know how he thinks... Believe me, he doesn't like Valero at all.. he thinks nothing of him..

Plus Amsterdam doesn't post here anymore.. I know where he posts and that's his new home.. I know this because we got into a little argument a few weeks ago..

You learn from every fight, and if you think Valero is a hype train, so what lol. You aren't going to change my mind about his talent until he loses. I re-wound the CD of the left-right combo of Valero's first knockdown over Pitalua, and I look for technique. The left was thrown short and hard with power/leverage... with technique, and so was the slicing right hook. How many southpaws have you seen who can do that? Manny PAc is one, and Valero is the other:good.
