First let me say that I'm not defending Garcia, Rios, and Margo's comments but some people shouldnt get bent out of shape when Roach's comments were no better....I'm just calling a spade a spade...They both have been talking ****...This is boxing not some talk show...Feeling will get hurt in this sport my man.

 

Actually, thats a really good point NBA. The stuff that gets said on the lounge is all in good humor, and you're a ***** if you don't go along with it, but this is somehow crossing the line.

 

Just because stuff like this happens in the sport (albeit rarely), it does not mean it should be condoned. Has anyone ever made fun of Ali's parkinsons? He upset plenty people during his lifetime, he was racist and incredibly disrespectful to Joe Frazier, but have you ever seen Joe mock Ali's parkinsons? No. That is why Frazier is considered a gentelmen, scholar, ane role model, whilst Margo is a disgrace. Roachs comments no better? Quote me Roach's worst comment. The worst thing he has said. I'm waiting.

 

In my opinion mocking somebody's disease is really bad style and not funny at all.

 

Honestly this is a fight, and if I were in their shoes especially considering that Margaritos career is at stake here, I would use any and every single peice of Mental warfair that I could sum up.
if it pays off in the fight then I did my job, this has obviously gotten under freddys skin I am sure, though it has been blown up bigger than it actually is, Rios went too far Margarito was talking bout how scared Roach was.

However if it got into Roachs head which I think it did, it may effect how Roach reacts as a trainer through out the fight...
