He's brash and cocky with misplaced arrogance but Boxing will ALWAYS have guys like this. Accept it. Duran and Benn(among countless others) were the same way.

Here's the scenario, Pac - Mayweather gets made, Mayweather Sr has a go at "Joke Coach Roach" and Roach responds.....

Now whilst the above is absurd what it is showing is that there's a line in the sand. Everyone has that line drawn differently and Tonys camp have crossed mine.

Rios looks like a complete *****. However, I think Roach has been acting like a total piece of **** for a while. But this looked ******ed from Margarito and Rios, although I definitely didn't overreact. It's not that big a deal. But the thing is the thread starter is a little too biased towards Mexicans... I don't know what he would be saying if it was someone else.

 

But hold on here a minute, didn't you say "free game" (ie anything goes)? That implies no boundarys doesn't it? So it doesn't matter if it's "much worse" because in attacking Roach they would be "free game".

 

With Garcia it was out of character and unacceptable, with Margacheato for some reason it was a little bit unexpected and out of line. With Rios I accept it. He's just a hardass tough guy and he doesn't pretend to be anything else. I wouldn't ask him or Mayorga to apologize for stuff like this, it's just part of their character and you can like it or hate it, but it is what it is.
