I'll wrap your hands like Tito's and let's see if you can become a 3 division champ, a HOF'er and an ATG. I mean if Tito can do that, why can't we?:think
Absolutely not. Like you said, any reasonable person understands the difference between having too much gauze and tape and having to re-wrap - which happens ocasionally - and has happened to many fighters including Tito and Oscar, and having a foreign substance that hardens when it comes into contact with sweat, like Margarito allegedly had.
-Repeated Low Blows -Cast like Wrappings (According to Bouie Fischer and NAZIM RICHARDSo) -Illegal use of elbows Cheated against Ricardo Mayorga Winky Wright Bernard Hopkins David Reid Hector Camacho Roy Jones Jr. William Joppy Fernando Vargas Yup, he likes to cheat.
OF COURSE HE IS.... knowing they're breaking the rules is cheating....and he did it his entire career
not at all, the two issues are very different... in the Trinidad case in some states the amount of tape that was used isnt illegal... in the hopkins event it was more of getting into Trinidads head and throwing him off his game plan throwing the flag, pushing at the press conference, and distraction in the locker room with the handwrap, and even pulling out of the fight on that night... Hopkins stated that was their plan by getting and distracting Trinidad and his camp... Papa Trinidad had no bad intentions, even telling Richardson if he wanted to used the whole half tape for Hopkins, he could have done the same... He just had a misunderstanding with the different rules in NY...
bro, he cheated :deal sure not like margo, but he did cheat....not only that, but he cheats in the ring...
It was only legal in Puerto Rico. Papa Trinidad has even admitted that the way he wraps Tito's hands increased his power. In an interview months after the fight, Hopkins said that the way the Trinidad's wrapped the hands was an old trick that Hardened the wraps. He even used the word "castlike". Trinidad has been known for notoriously using low blows to hurt his opponents an throw his elbows when he was in trouble and when he felt the fight was a tough. He did it through out his career. He had very little honor when it came to the ring.
Hey Mamabicho, show me where Papa Trinidad admitted to this....:huh And dont in here with that **** from the Ron Heard article ok. SHow me something crediable and not some National Enquirer ****.
