I said Hopkins was clearly a better fighter, as his fight proved, but a legend, no, a very good fighter, yes. Are also my words... and 26 other people agree with me.
and over 70% of people disagree with you. i put the evidence infront of you and then you still say they are not your words. :rofl
I'm calling out all this jack asses... bigdog2001, box4ever, chincheck12, dangerousity, DbesoFresh, dhralf, djtech2k8, DON1, Drexl, DudeGuyMan, edouardleniqueu, ENGLISH_TITAN, faisal, Gatekeeper78, gottagivafight, H ., M.I.G., MexicanJew, Mpower, REdAl, Seven Chance, skeeeeezo, sweetray, TheH1tMan, truewarrior, Untested Please explain your votes with reason and evidence on why Tito is not a legend. From now on, all this people should be questioned about their boxing knowledge. Facts: 1. Tito never ducked anyone in his career. He always wanted to fight the best and compete against top fighters at all cost without considering any risks. I bet that most of you are JC or PBF fans... Please ask your fighters to do the same PLEASEEEE... 2. The losses Tito had were all against great and skilled fighters. All of them are future HOF / ATG and LEGENDS. Besides Winky, Tito shouldn't have gone as above 154lbs in his career but he always wanted to make history 3. He didn't fought with Quartey, Forrest and SSM because unfortunately history at that point wasn't the right thing to do. I'll explain: Quartey lost to ODLH (controversial by the way) so Tito wanted to fight ODLH, He didn't fought with Forrest because at the time Forrest was at 147 and he was at that point either fighting at 154 and entering the middleweight tournament. And finally, he didn't fought SSM for the only reason that at the time he lost to Winky and we all know how that turned out. Anyway guys... We have to give this man the status he deserves as a legend and no one should be disputting this.
And 77 voted YES so whats your point?:huh Not only is Tito a legend but he is also responsible for making boxing interesting in the late 90s thus making a lot of YOUS fans till this day, so dont hate! For me, he was a legend in the making from the moment he koed Blocker on that hot night in June 1993. :good
Trinidad is a legend, his ppv #'s speak for themselves... he fought bravely at all times and had a very successful reign at welterweight with a consecutive streak with good and great opponenst, he was basically unbeatable at 147... at 154 he even carried his power, very few could do that and beat good opponents to become a champ at that weight... his 3 losses not four to get it right are to future hall of famers that were all bigger than him... a welterweight losing to hopkins is not something to be embarass of... losing after to winky, roy jones, is also no shame in there... lets stop hating, we tend not to appreciate these fighter only after they leave for good is when we look back...
What is it that qualifies what a legend is? Everyone and their momma seems to use different criteria for everything....
Didn't say that. Didn't say whether he is or isn't a legend actually. I just wanted to let the record show that although his official record lists him with three losses he truly has four. People can draw their own conclusions from there. That is all. Good day.
This thread is a litmus test for boxing ******ation, and sadly, a quarter appear to fall into that category.
