    To me ya... obviously.

Btw... Gatti and Vargas are in no way on the same level.... only a noob whos only watched boxing since 02 would think that.

also... i have no problem with vargas NOT making it... but then the same criteria that applied to him better apply to every fighter...

Hes a two time champion, with very good wins over ike and winky wright, good wins against marquez, campas, cast, joval, thompson, and all time great fights at his weight class against tito and oscar. And is the youngest jr middle champ in history.

    Vargas - Nope

Maybe as the Youngest Jr. Middleweight Champion Ever.

There are many others in front of him.

the most vargas can expect is that he probably won't be a first ballot pick, but there is the chance he makes it in the future.

Vargas should go into some kind of HOF not necessarily the boxing HOF... Maybe HOF of super swollen eye or HOF of the serverely beaten:!:

I'd say yes. Youngest supermiddle champ ever as Kirk Mentioned. Wins over Winky (who most agree is HOF worthy), and Quartey, Fought everyone in his era and gave the 2 most elite fighters of his division all they coudl handle in epic battles.

Talentwise in his prime he matches up with anyone else that you can think of.
