He continues to dominate world class fighters one after the other. I'm happy with his choice of oponnents

It's crazy. Mayweather reaching 50-0 seemed so impossible just over 2 years ago. But he is stepping up activity and could be just 5 fights away after Alvarez.

The Showtime contract, if fulfilled, would end at 49-0 giving him "free agency" to negotiate a ridiculous price for his attempt at breaking Marciano's record.

bob arum denied floyds request to fight delahoya and cotto, bob arum said there was no money in those fights "know when to hold em know when to fold em". look up that article.. its what prompted floyd to leave arum and sign on to fight delahoya and set world records

he could have fought margarito for 8 million but he went on to instead fight baldomir (who had just beaten judah who floyd wanted to fight originally) which earnt him the same 8 million paycheaque but he got the lineal title from that fight aswell.

realistically margarito was a good pressure fighter but cotto almost managed to outbox him before he succumbed to the pressure, your telling me floyds vastly superior defense and movement would not have earnt him the cruisiest lopsided decision ? im telling you now it would have been the same fight as the baldomir fight (thats my opinion but i struggle to fathom how anyone can see margaritos style giving floyd trouble at all... hell they are dumping on canelo right now for being SLOW and plodding forward, when margarito is not much differant except he does not throw combinations half as well as alveraz and he would have outweighed mayweather by alot less then canelo will)

Going 50-0 wont be breaking Marciano's record unless Mayweather would retire on the spot.
Other fighters have well surpassed 50-0 and gone on to lose down the line.

Going 49-0 is'nt what Marciano is famous for. Retiring undefeated with that record is why Marciano has recieved so many accolades.

Floyd's overall level of opponents is superior to Marciano's.

Then again, Rocky never had to pull a duck to stay undefeated.

He might not make it to 45-0. But if he does I want to see him fight someone less mentioned, maybe Spadafora?

Anyone that still brings Concreto in a discussion seems to be mentally, financially or physically disabled in some shape or form. Do you consider fighting Concreto(Who's biggest win at the time was Andrew "Six Heads Zero Chins" Lewis) in 2007 a better fight than moving up in weight to challenge DLH for Mayweather's fifth division world title?, not to forget the PPV earnings for that fight breaking records. Wasn't Cotto challenged only to claim he's still unproven?, ever wondered why Cotto's very first fight after leaving Arum was none other than Mayweather?. Why was Mosley instantly challenged after he pummeled the glove loading cheating scumbag?, was he with Top Rank at the time?

Did he duck Pacquiao?, sure he did and there's no way to defend that unless I'm playing silly mind games with myself. But Concreto?, please wake the F up.

    Obviously.

I would assume should Mayweather fight enough to do it and remain unbeaten that he would hang them up.

I agree it would be a great fight if bradley can get past JMM. Bradley will have to leave Top rank to make the fight. I can see this happening though, after JMM all top rank can Offer bradley is rematches. Pac,provodnikov, and maybe another with JMM.
