Is Floyd making a stupid excuse or messing with Pacquiao's ego?.

yeah pacman is p4p #1 but floyd is the one who is coming out of retirement and pre retirement floyd was p4p #1 and has been forever and pacman was always behind him... pacman still technically hasnt surpassed floyd .. he beat 2 guys who floyd beat when they were better & pacman inherited floyds position.... so yes technically floyd would be doing him the favor.... until pacman can maybe some how surpass floyd.. maybe the cotto fight will do that for him...

floyd probably feels like pacman understands this... or maybe he doesnt since he really doesnt handle his own business and thinks he truly does deserve more (which in some arguments could be made to stand true) but since pacman has to give 25% of his money to a 3rd part (arum [and that third party actually controls the situation]) arum is going to do whatever he can to get as much money as possible regardless of who deserves what.. so in the long run he will make the fight a hassle

i suppose thats why floyd always brings it up

 

why is someone always translating what floyd says into what he means? why not just go with what he is saying and quit trying to find a justification that fits?
