    thats all it is.

    Does a coward:
Fight a champion within the first two years of his pro career?
Fight an undefeated kayo machine and top 10 p4p fighter in his first few years as pro?
Go up in weight class and defeated the champ?
Immediately rematch the champ who almost beat you?
Go up in weight again for a title?
Go up in weight again for the championship?
Go up in weight again to fight an atg?
Fight a top 10 p4p, undefeated, undisputed champion instead of retiring?

    yeah, what a flaming homo

Basically what everyone else has said. A professional boxer who is as successful a Floyd Mayweather Jr doesn't get to that kind of level off being a coward. He just thinks he is better than he actually is and therefore feels he doesn't have to prove himself against the best. In his heart of hearts, he knows he can beat them so why prove it unless he gets a ridicliously huge pay day?

Did you see the scorecards on that fight? Had he not had the point deducted, he would've won I believe 8 rounds on all the cards. Many ringside observers gave him 7 or 8 rounds as well. He actually came closer to losing the DLH fight(going strictly by the scorecards)

Ive been saying that for the longest. People bash Floyd for taking fights, and wanting to get well compensated for it. This isnt basketball man, this is BOXING. FLoyd wants to make sure that when he leaves that ring, if something were to happen he could have enough money to nurse himself back to normal, his family well compensated. I mean it sucks for us but I cant blame him. And Im pretty sure if They offered Floyd to fight Cotto for 20million he would jump all on it. He is trying to stack money up at this point in his career, and for that I cannot blame him

Exactly what I've said. Arum needs to offer Mayweather some $$, and lets see how fast Mayweather vs Cotto get made :yep

Floyd is afraid of losing and that makes him a coward in my book.

Excibit A: Fought Gatti - a broken man before he met Floyd.
Excibit B: Fought Shamba Mitchell, who Tszyu had beaten twice before him.
Excibit C: Fought Zab Judah Tszyu had beaten profoundly before him.
    Excibit D: Never fought Tszyu.
Excibit E: Fought DLH, when the faded star was two years into retirement(props for fighting at higher weight though).
Excibit F: Fought a weak champion in Baldomir
Excibit G: Fought Hatton at a weight where he had looked far from comfortable in his previous two outings.

Having said all this, I do think that Floyd is a great fighter - but I still think he is a coward.

Add to that, he called out Winky . .. only to clearly duck him.

He told Margarito to his face he would fight him, only to duck him.

When asked about facing Cotto this year said he was sitting the year out, then accepts a BS rematch that no real boxing fans wants to happen.

He is a ducker, therefore a coward.

The man has got more money that you can count, now it is time for him
to fight the best in his division and it shouldn't be about the money anymore. I am not calling him a coward but fans see it that way because, he is playing it safe. i know it is a long shot but i am hoping it backfires and Oscar gives him a nice little spankin'.:yep

*nods* This should be evidence enough.

PS I would like to correct that I wrote: "he is a great fighter", what I meant was he is a great boxer. A fighter to me has heart, and Floyd has none of it.
