I will say this: He's smart enough to put the right people behind him to handle his business. To get a lucrative deal with Top Rank straight out of the Olympics Negotiate a buy-out and create an alliance with the biggest concert promoter in the world, Al Haymon Transform himself into the highest paid athlete in the world Leave the country's largest cable network and sign a ridiculous deal with their rival
Why do you refer to "*****s" as if you're not a part of that group? Look at the amount of time you've spent making posts about this guy... You're clearly obsessed with him. :yep
He's athletically gifted but he's not a genius mathematician. He doesn't even know what 4 times 6 is :rofl
I agree, and I can't see how some people don't rate him. I think he is far better than Hopkins who I think is a little overrated. I love the old fighters, but I honestly think Mayweather belongs with the greats.
Touched a nerve? mayweather is an unbelievably talented fighter that's how he makes his money, seems demeaning to his skills and opponents to suggest otherwise
:rofl This Mr Pibb is incredibly insecure about "intellect". Try defending all you want but the Mayweather's are a bunch of idiots who barely graduated high school. Without Mayweather Jr's boxing skills (only athleticism not "mathematical genuis" :rofl), they would all be window cleaning somewhere. :deal
You have a lot of sugar in your tank:yep The way you sit in judgement of people you don't know....that can buy and sell your nothing as.s is pure DSAB. If Floyd were stupid he'd be getting pimped like lil Manny. Hate on little troll...it's all you're good at.
Its only because he is the last of the greats. If Tyson or Oscar were still fighting, floyd wouldn't be the PPV cash cow. Oscar should be getting a Royalty check from Floyd each fight! LOL
Floyd doesn't owe Oscar anything. Oscar didn't put together his team. Oscar didn't introduce him to Al Haymon. What fanbase did Mayweather inherit from Hoya to be so in his debt? NONE Oscar played the saintly good guy that only said "It was an exciting fight" Dull as hell. Floyd drew the haters and capitalized on them. Hoya had a gold medal and a massive built in following. Floyd had none of that...but he did have the savvy to play the bad-guy and draw attention to himself even to the point of throwing money away in clubs and making outrageous claims about being the best ever. Ali...Leonard...Joe Louis...Ray Robinson....Hagler...ect ect Those are the guys that made boxing in America:deal If Floyd owes anybody anything it's THEM.
